Magazine, newspaper, and glue
In this project, I crafted an 8”x10” handmade collage using type cutouts sourced from various magazines and newspapers. I purposefully selected a range of letterforms in different styles, weights, and forms, and experimented with cutting, ripping, slicing, folding, and isolating them to explore different layering effects.
