Linoleum and oil-based inks on linen
The self-expressive design draws inspiration from the versatile motifs found in tiki art. In Polynesian, Melanesian, and Micronesian cultures, tiki faces are intended to represent a mood or desire. Experimenting with various orientations, I created a tiled pattern meant to reference the plentiful emotions evoked through tiki expressions.
