Scanned sketches, black India ink, charcoal, graphite, and glue
I created this art piece using a brayer and photocopies of my drawings, eccentrically glued together. By laying down various blobs of ink, I utilized the brayer (the star of this project) to produce sharp, contrasting, and irregular marks.
The inclusion of charcoal and graphite played a crucial role in the artistic process, contributing to the blurring of lines within the marks. This interplay aims to soften the overall appearance of the piece, resulting in a layered composition.
